Counting Total Number Correct of RYG Balls per person

Can anyone help me with my a formula that will allow you to count the "Green RYG balls" which means completed for our purposes. I am trying to count the number of completed "Green" RYG balls, per person in order to use on the dashboard I am creating.

I trying to display how many tasks has "John Doe" completed and I only want the total number to display, of completed by John. I don't need a report I just in a total number for each person.

I CME, This formula should do the trick. Note that you would only use the brackets around the column name IF the column name contains spaces.

=countifs([RYG Column Name]:[RYG Column Name],"Green", [Assignee Column Name]:[Assignee Column Name], "John Doe")
