Need Help - Formula to count status by assigned resource

Greetings,

I need help with COUNTIF syntax. i want to count the nunmber of tasks by status for each of my resources. For example, if I have a resource named Kerry assigned to 100 tasks, how many of Kerry's tasks are Not Started, In-Process, Complete, Past The Planned Start Date and Past the Planned Completion Date.

Yes, I looked at the reports but I need to report on the totals and map those back into the dashboard.

Have you explored the Summarize feature in the report?
