PMO template set up
Hi team,
I wanted to set up PMO template set up for my organization. But I am trying from scratch to set up a new project but it doesn't work.
The step I follow is.
Create a project in the project intake sheet from the project intake form.
Copy the project id from the intake sheet and try to paste it to Project level folder metadata but project details are not updated.
How to implement this.
Can anyone help me?

Are you using Control Center?

Hi @Kilton ROy
I hope you're well and safe!
Can you share some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help.
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

@Paul Newcome I am not using the Control center. Only pmo template from solution center.

What formulas do you have in those cells that aren't updating?
I have also seen a bit of a delay in updating at times. Have you gone back to it after letting it sit for a few minutes to see if maybe there was just some lag?

Try following this guide and see if that works.
If you haven't changed it, you must manually create the cell links for the metadata.
Make sense?
Did that work/help?

@Andrée Starå I know this article, I also tried this but it's not updating, how to link the sheet, so it will automatically update?
-
@Paul Newcome Its not updating, How I can sync that so iy will automatically update. Or should I raise support ticket for that.

Do you have formulas or cell links?
If you are using a formula, what is it?
If you are using cell links, you will need to manually update them every time or switch over to a formula that will automatically update. Something along the lines of:
=INDEX({Intake Sheet Project Category Column}, MATCH([Project ID]@row, {Intake Sheet Project ID Column}, 0))
-
I'm having the exact same issue, except that when I copy/paste the project ID into the Project Metadata sheet, I get a #NO MATCH error. If I try to update this formula:
=INDEX({Portfolio Summary Data}, MATCH($[Project ID]@row, {Project ID}, 0), MATCH([Project Name]$1, {Portfolio Summary Data}, 0)) replacing "Portfolio Summary Data" with "Project Intake Sheet" the error changes from #NO MATCH to #INVALID REF.
This is strange, because there is no sheet named "Portfolio Summary Data" to be found.
Was this ever resolved for the person who posted this issue?

@thereseJardine Ranges inside of curly brackets are {Cross Sheet References}. Are you able to provide some screenshots of your sheets so we are able to see what you are working with and what you are trying to accomplish?
