Can we restrict user to enter any future date.

Hello all,

I got a case where the user should be allowed to enter today's date or past date, but shouldn't be allowed to enter any future date. Can anyone guide on this.

I think the solution you would need might be more work than what you would want to do to make it happen. You can't just click a setting to do this from what I know. You would most likely have to set up some helper columns and some formulas to trigger when a date is entered that is greater than today. It can be done, but not in a very simple manner.
