Hi,

I have to update project progress every day in a row in smartsheet, so every begining row I have to fill today date ex:

  • 6/8/2023: step A done
  • 6/9/2023: Step B done
  • 6/10/2023: Step C done.

In excel, I have quick way to do this everytime by pressing "Ctrl"+";", do we have similar quick way to fill today date likes excel.

Many thanks in advance.

aahh "t" thing gets the current date in the column and then you can type alongwith it but it doesn't lets you do it for the second time...

is it possible to have Parent task and then every step as child row. Then create date column will help you keep track of all everyday steps
