Project Sheet - Static Finish Date
I didn't see a post about this yet, please post a link if this is a repeat issue!
It seems like the default relationship between Duration, Start, and Finish is that when you update the finish date or the duration, the start date is kept static, the duration gets extended and the finish date gets pushed out.
Is there a way to keep the Finish date & duration static and have the start date automatically updated?

Have you tried working your predecessors backwards.
Instead of having (for example) a finish to start predecessor on row 3 referring to row 2, have a start to finish predecessor on row 2 referring to row 3. (I may have the SF/FS part backwards, but that's the general idea).

Thanks for the response Paul.
My issue isn't with predecessors, it's happening on every row.
Take the below example. Right now, if I change the duration to 10d, the start date stays 6/20 and the finish date gets pushed to 7/3. Then, if I correct the finish date, the duration gets shortened. I need the finish date to stay as entered and the duration/start changes to keep the same finish date. Does that help?

Hey @young.benjamin
You are correct - you'll need to change the Start Date in order to maintain the Duration and End Dates. Here's another Community Post that goes through this:

Thank you for the response Genevieve!
That does help clarify. We'll just have to work around for now, I did submit an enhancement request for this.
