Two Forms - One Smartsheet Line
Hi,
I have two forms related to one Smartsheet. The two forms are being completed by the same person, asking different questions. I cannot combine the forms. When they complete the forms, they appear on different rows. Is there a way to compile all of the information on just one row?
Thanks!

No, there is not. Each form will always produce the data collected onto a new row. If you want it all on one row, you will have to combine the forms into one. Have you looked into using the conditional logic within the form to see if that will help with combining the two forms?

The conditional logic will not work in this case.
Is there a formula that moves the information from the second row up to the first once it has been completed?

I hope you're well and safe!
YOu could have the user start with the form and then send them an automated updated request for the second "form," so it's collected on the same row.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

Thank you, Andree. Yes it might, but I need more information. I tried using the update feature in the automation to send the 2nd form, but it still put it on a new line. Can you provide me with a bit of help?

Happy to help!
Yes, sure!
You'd need to have the form either set to that the user has to be logged in or add a field where they add their email address.
You'd then add Workflow with the Update Request Action that would automatically trigger when a new row is added.
