Groups - how many users in a group?

The help files indicates you can bulk upload 1,000 emails to a group. Is that the maximum number of users that can be in a group? I could not find documentation indicating how many users could be in a group.

That limit is specific to bulk-uploading the emails into the group, to ensure that the request is processed successfully. I don't believe there's currently a hard limit for the number of users that can be in a group. I have seen some groups with around 10,000 contacts, if that helps.
