Dynamic View shaded cells
Does anybody know why about half the time the cell color format in the source sheet appears in the Dynamic View, and half the time it does not? And, sometimes it comes or goes when I update the data in one of the cells in question. This may be related to the Dynamic View drawing from a Report which combines two sheets. But, the formatting in the report is fine & reflects how the sheets are formatted.
For example, Column A from Sheet 1 is white and Column A from Sheet 2 is gray. The report splits the format correctly based on which sheet it comes from. Sometimes the Dynamic View splits the format, sometimes not.
Also, when I hover in the Dynamic View, many (but not all) of the cells in the row show in blue. What determines if they highlight in blue??
Thx!

My team and I have noticed this before. We took a deep dive into the data and column properties and settings and everything else and couldn't find any consistencies.
@Genevieve P. Have you noticed this before?

Hi @Josh W (and thanks for the tag, @Paul Newcome!)
I haven't seen inconsistent formatting in Dynamic View before - it should bring through the formatting from the underlying sheet like the Report.
In my tests the rows stay the correct colour based on the sheet selected:
The top row is the one I selected. The blue cells are the ones that do not have formatting applied (or do not exist in the source sheet). The cells that don't change colour have formatting applied manually in the underlying sheet. Does that help?
Cheers,
Genevieve

We have several rounds of emails completed on a ticket for this one, and it's being elevated. Stay tuned!
