Is there a way to share a dashboard that is created in SmartSheets in SharePoint? This would be for viewing purposes only?

Absolutely!

In your dashboard, go to File>Publish:

Set the slider to 'ON'.

You can then copy the publish link and use it in an Embed web part on your sharepoint portal:
