Enhancement Request: Provide Highlight for differences using Data Validation
When setting data validation on a column (ie Dropdown type), a warning is provided to warn user there are differences. As an Admin, user can allow these.
Provide some means to flag these differences.
Moving to a validated column with 25 choices there may be dozens on typos or more in the old data.
An easy way to find them (besides parsing with formulas or externally with something else) would be appreciated.
Use should be able to turn off the flag/highlight or it should expire (a day, an hour, something)
This request has also be posted to the Form

That's a good request in case you want to go back and correct values. For dropdown values, you could apply a filter using the "is not one of" criteria and select all of your dropdown values (and blank).

Shaine,
You could, sort of. However, the "is not one of" selection picks up both the values from the Drop Down List and values that are entered into the column. Further, it does not differentiate them.
If I have a new Drop Down List of 30 items to choose from, I don't what to click 30 times to find the 2 typos. I can't search for them without knowing what they are. The system has already done the hard part -- determining that there are items from group A (what is currently in the column) that don't match group B (items in the Drop Down List)
