When working days are set (either by SysAdmin for new sheets or directly in the sheet) and Dependencies are disabled, the dialog implies they do not impact the sheet. But they do.
I posted about this today:http://ronin-global.com/2017/06/23/smartsheet-using-working-days-without-dependencies/
Since they impact the sheet, there is little reason to hide them when Dependencies are disabled. Please consider always showing them.
Hi Craig—
I like this suggestion and it is true that working days are saved to the sheet even when dependencies are disabled.
I just read your article, one small thing that I noticed was your hyperlinks go out to the anchors of our legacy functions article, which is soon going to be archived. The link will redirect to another article, but any anchored links with the #function_name tag will likely just redirect to our main functions page.
We have a new, easier to navigate functions list here https://help.smartsheet.com/functions
Individual functions can be found at https://help.smartsheet.com/function/<function_name> (note the singular /function in the URL). For example: https://help.smartsheet.com/function/workday
I recommend that you change your hyperlinks to the new article URLs.
Shaine,
I will fix the post.
Craig
