Convert into column formula w/o syntax error

Could you help me please ? I try to convert following formula into column formula w/o syntax error , unfortunately without success. Do you know by heart how I can do it ?
COUNTIF([Unique Key]$1:[Unique Key]@row, [Unique Key]@row)

Hey @Tibor,
The issue is with the range.
Try this one: =COUNTIF([Unique key]:[Unique key], [Unique key]@row)
Let me know if I am missing something, what do you want the formula to do?

Thank you very much , but if I use mentioned formula than I use functionality that I want to see, anyhow I found solution here https://community.smartsheet.com/discussion/31256/number-of-duplicates.
