Current user and Dynamic view

Hi all,

I have a sheet were I have a field called "Submitted by" = contact list

In my dynamic view I configured the initial value as : Current user

in my dynamic view this field is empty.

Result is that the user need to select his name manually from the list.

This is additional work but also not what we want to achieve.

Audit want's to be sure that the user that complete the task is the user that was opening this task. Now the user can select any name from the list and that is not what audit want :-)

who has a solution ?

Hey @jan aelbrecht,

I hope I understand what you mean, why not have this field as a hidden field with the initial value of current user and this way they will not be able to change it.

Let me know if that helps or if I missed anything.

For me that is also perfect but the field is empty in the sheet.
