How can you create a dashboard with an existing project data and it update automatically?

I am trying to create a dashboard with an existing data in smartsheet but it is not letting. I need to track of the project monthly, weekly and daily. I have no idea how to do that as I am new to smarteheet.

There are more than 800 rows, In dashboard I need to show status of the docs, new forecast dates etc
