How can we just get acknowledgement and not approval


I have an employee call out form that is routed to the supervisor and the staffing office. In the workflow I just want to notify the supervisor with the details from the form and I want them to acknowledge receipt. They cannot approve or decline. The approval workflow would work, and I can change the word approve to say 'Received' but I can't get rid of Decline. Any suggestions? I must be missing something very obvious.

    Hi Jacqui,

    You can send out an update request instead and have a column to capture the acknowledgement. The only issue though, is that you can't make a field mandatory for the supervisor to fill in the update request. Hence, there is a chance that it might be left blank. However, you can trigger the update request multiple times until the column is filled in with a value.
