Update request for one task assigned to multiple people
I want to have multiple people assigned to a task. When I send out the update request to the contacts assigned to that task, both get the form and when one updates data, the other then has to override the data when they respond, not being able to capture both user's response makes it hard to ensure we are getting all department perspectives. Is there a way this can be managed more efficiently in the Smartsheet?

Hi vbhagwat,
To capture both user's response to ensure we are getting all department perspectives, some ideas you can consider:
- Add the comment field to the update request you're going to send to contacts. All the comments from users will be saved seperately in Comment icon on each row and you can review them later. You can also add a new "Latest comment" column to auto capture the user latest comment to this collumn for quicker viewing (no need to access to Comment icon).
- Add more columns corresponding with departments to update seperately
