How to search in cardview when same text in sub-items?

In Smartsheet grid view the default search is very easy to find what you need. When you press Ctrl+F it opens a very short dialog box that brings you directly to what you need. In Card view however, the search will present the specific cell value, not the card title which can make it very hard to find the correct information (especially when you might use formulas to bring the parent information to all the children for filtering).

Has anyone else had this problem or have any solutions? Our users are not happy with this behavior, any help is much appreciated!

Hi @Patrick Pilvines

There currently isn't a way to change which search window appears when you're in Card View. Please provide your feedback to the Product team around what you want to see in that search window by using the bullhorn icon in the top right:

An alternative could be to use the Filter option in a sheet to filter down your cards by the value you're looking for, or to switch to Grid View to use the other search interface.
