Other options for viewing critical path

What other options do we have for viewing critical path? I'm in the Gantt view and have critical path turned on but my project is large and tracing the lines to try to figure it out is more of a maze and I still don't know what the critical path is.

Is there an easier way to view this info, please???

I am not aware of a different view in Smartsheet. In MS Project you can view it as a network diagram. That would be a good suggestion for a future feature enhancement.

Beyond that, maybe zooming the timescale?

I have seen some comments in other threads about using conditional formatting to change the formatting (red text/highlighting) of rows where the task is on the critical path. I haven't tried it, so am not familiar with the formulas/set up to do that. That still won't present it in a linear fashion... but at least you will see which tasks are on the critical path. Although, now that I am thinking about it... if there is a way to use conditional formatting, then you could also set up a filter....

well, just answered that... under filters you can do this.

This it will only show rows/tasks that are on the critical path. Neat. I will need to add that to my templates.
