Smartsheet Calendar - Render event to actual start & end dates

I'm creating a project visual-timeline using the Calendar App, but the tasks are spanning entire time periods instead of representing the actual task timeline.

Phase 1 completes on Sep 1st, but it shows running through the entire month of September.

Phase 2 starts on May 15th, but it shows starting on May 1st.

How do I make this more accurate?

You would have to zoom in to show days if you want to see the day an event starts or stops on.

Think of it as each time block being just that. A block. Phase 1 is in that block, so the block is highlighted. If you want a more granulated view, you will need to go to a more granulated view.

Additional question:

The Week 454 view appears to be a little more granular. However, I have the quarter start month set to June but when I change the view to week 454 it changes the quarter start month to February. I then have to go back to settings and set it back to June, so the quarter view is correct again.
