collecting live information on a specific date
Hello community, I have a drop down column with stock status. It changes almost daily ; I need help creating a formula to count each status on the last day of the month (it could be the first if it's easier, 30th vs 31st as opposed to 1st). How do I do that? I know how to create the formula to count but sometimes I'm too busy on that day to go collect the results, so how do I trigger it on a given day and then I could create a notification to go copy the information on that day before it changes again OR how do I create a formula retrieve the information on a given date in the past (ideal situation)
Hope this is not too confusing.
Thanks
Diane

@del314 I'm not sure what plan you are on or what plan you need, but Work Insights might be a solution you could use.

You could insert a date type column and use a formula to output the last day of the current month the set up a copy row automation to copy the row on that date.
