Smartsheet Attachment Feature

Is there a way to view the contents of an attachment within smartsheet? The clicking to download in another window becomes taxing when having to review a large # of attachments.

@Michey I think it depends on the file type to open. If it's a .pdf then it shows "preview" and "open in a new tab" options but if it's .xls then the option is to "download" it.

When I click on my attachment it views within my smartsheet. Did you tried using the preview option?

Interesting. Preview and Open In New Tab are not on my actions drop down.

I see. These are emails that I am attaching. I discovered a better solution for me is to save the email as an html file , then attach so it opens up in a new tab without having to download.
