Hello, first time I ask a question here, so please bear with me....

I have created a "Drawing Vault" where collaborators can add drawings to a row and submit to a workflow (by clicking on a "check mark") to get them reviewed by an Approver. Once approved, the row is locked.

I want to add a functionality that requires knowing the user that is clicking on the "check mark". Right now, there is an owner in the owner column, but anybody could actually click on the "check mark". I would like to add some error proofing functionalities

Hi,

Have you created a Modified By column? It is a system column that records the user that last modified the row. If the checkbox is the only item being modified, that would work. Otherwise, you can right-click on the cell and view cell history.

Thank you for the prompt response Darla.

As multiple users can be logged in at the same time, I am afraid that will not work as I would like.

I have seen the "triggering user" in some alert options, I was hoping for something like this - but I don't seem to be able to use this in automations sadly.
