Conditional formatting not showing up on workflow emails

Conditional formatting appears in all the views but does not appear on workflow emails; if it does, it is sporadic. Conditional formatting has worked on previous sheets.

Hi @TAP

There currently isn’t a way to show conditional formatting on workflow email notifications. When you have a moment, please submit your feature request to the Product team by creating an Idea post in the Smartsheet Product Feedback and Ideas topic.

As an alternative, you can send a sheet as an attachment (File > Send as Attachment) on a schedule at a specified time for example daily.

Thank you for the reply.

Sorry to disagree, but for over a year, our workflow notifications have always shown the conditional formatting. Last week we started seeing notifications with no conditional formatting for newly created sheets.

Here is an example of a recent email notification showing the conditional formatting:

@TAP I also have never had conditional formatting on my workflow notifications. Are you certain they were conditional formatting and NOT actual formatting? If you somehow do have conditional formatting being sent via workflow, first off, that's amazing and am super jealous, secondly, have you tried saving the sheet as new and work off of the newly saved sheet?
