DPIA questions - Data hosting and transfer to US
Dear all,
We are certainly considering the use of Smartsheet for our organisation and so, the following questions raised as part of DPIA.
Does data including personal data stay in the EU? If so, can you please point us to the exact reference as we are based in the UK. Also if there’s data transfer to US, is it anonymised? If so, please point us to the exact reference please.

Take a look at the below article. This should have all of the answers you need.
In short though... The data is hosted in your region (if you have a .eu account, you are part of the EU region, and that is where your data is hosted).
And data cannot be transferred or shared across regions. Anything created or stored in an EU account will need to be rebuilt from scratch to have it in a .com account.
