Is there any way to pull in Date AND time to a column when a specific condition is met?

I've been trying to create a column that populates the date AND time when a condition from a different column is met. Is there a way to do this without creating any other sheets or extensive work? It seems like a very simple thing to do as they have a record a date workflow but it doesn't include time. Don't know how this is not a feature yet as people continuously ask for it.
