Is there a way to set up a notification of an uploaded document on one specific row?

I am new to the group and looking forward to learning more about utilizing Smartsheet! I have a colleague that wants to get notifications of new uploaded documents, but only to one row, not the entire sheet. Is this possible?

You would need some type of unique identifier for that row that can be used to filter rows in the automation.

An example would be to add a column for Document Notification - set this as Contact, then set the automation to filter the column for the user name. Additionally, you can use this field to send the notification to as well.

If you have a unique identifier on the row (like an auto-numbering column), then you can use that as criteria that must be met in your automation that sends the notification.
