I want my grid to automatically post a completion date when a task is marked complete.

I need help getting my sheet to automatically put a completion date in the last column when the complete column is checked.

you could use a "date last modified" and Lock the row after it gets into the complete status with an automation

You can use a Workflow combined with a Record a Date Action to store the date.
