If I am not planning to share a file in another platform, why would I need to "off-load" data from a smartsheet file? Must "off-load" be used to pull the data into another smartsheet?

@Debbie C. Correct, you will need to offload the data into a csv file in order to upload it elsewhere in Smartsheet.
