Forms - how to set up a date field?
Is there a way to format a date field in a form (for a sheet) to be set up for the date it's submitted? Like a TODAY formula or something? Thanks!!

You use the inbuilt system one:
This will auto-populate itself with the date (and time) of submission of the row (whether by form or sheet), nothing extra required.

Hi @laura.sandoval,
Do you need the date for any logic on the form? If not, you can just add a "Created Date" column to the sheet without needing it to be visible on the form or requiring any entry.

Thanks for the speedy reply! When I create that column on the sheet...how does it populate with the date it was submitted? Is there something I put on the form or is it a formula? @Nick Korna
