Web Widget for Notes

I am looking for a 3rd party note-taking site to use as a web widget on a dashboard. I was previously using a Rich Text widget on the app and calling it the "Bulletin" but this is clunky. In order to add/ edit text on this bulletin, we have to "edit" the dashboard and click save. I want it to be edited easily. There has to be a million options for this so please let me know!!

You can use a sheet with a form attached to it. Having new entries populate at the top of the sheet, using a basic formula to flag the top row, then using a report to display that top row on the dashboard alongside the form (in a web content widget) should provide for pretty easy updates.

Im more thinking something like a google docs page (as a web widget) that we can edit directly from the dashboard. We want something stripped down (like a notes app) so its easy to operate and serves just that purpose. While that seems like a cool idea, it would be too complicated for what we are looking for. Any other suggestions?

You can create a sheet, publish it as editable by anyone, and drop the published url into a web content widget.

I'm having the same problem. I need a notepad people can edit ad lib without access to editing the whole page. The cell "Sheet" doesn't count for obvious reasons and One-Note won't connect from share-point due to access requirements. Why don't they have a simple text editor widget?

I'm also looking for something like this. I need a collaboration tool that can be live edited by multiple people, and capture who is editing.

I also want this. I want to take notes straight from/ on the dashboard without editing the whole page. Like a scrollable sticky note that I can control the size of like the other widgets.
