generate auto email with response linked to the sheet

I am trying to work on an e-mail reminder on a specific due date which generates an e-mail response either marked complete or still working and once it's complete the user selects complete from the e-mail and it changes the task list within the smartsheet has completed …is this possible?

Hi Paul - I have a recurring task monthly task and I wanna make sure that every month when it's marked completed I wanted to copy that row over to the same sheet and have the due date changed one month after the previous month is completed for that specific task ? Is this possible?

I was able to figure the copy automation from one sheet back to the original but it won't let me change the date.

any ideas? Thanks
