How do I save the creation date of a row to another sheet in Smartsheet?
I have a sheet with data that gets manual updated daily (#1), and I need to perform calculations by collecting a portion of daily information automatically. Therefore, I want to have a creation date that is generated automatically on another sheet (#2)so that the calculations in every day are generated automatically. What can you recommend?"

Would adding a column with the column type "created date" work for you? This will automatically populate with the date and time the row was created.
Put this on whichever sheet you want to record the creation date of. If you want to use the creation date of sheet 1 in a formula on sheet 2 then you can use a cross-sheet formula to pull this into a standard date column on sheet 2.
