Where is my undeleted sheet?

Hi,

I accidentally deleted a sheet. I browsed to the deleted folder and selected "undelete". Now the sheet is gone from the delete folder and nowhere to be found. It has been ten minutes. How long does it take to undelete, and can someone help me restore it?

@RadioMercur An undeleted sheet is automatically placed in your sheets section.

Thank you for responding. That is the issue—the file is not there. I tried with a couple more files and got the same results—the files are gone. They don't seem to exist anymore (after undelete). No results when I search for them.

Can someone explain / help?

I logged out, back in to no avail. Months of work - hope not completely lost

Why does it not return the sheet to the location it was in previous to the delete? This is how every trashcan in every OS and environment we all work in has worked for years?
