averageif
I am trying to find the average dwell time per SCAC but I'll get a zero return which is not correct or a #divide by zero error message. =AVERAGEIF({OTP 10.21.23 SCAC Range}, "ltga", {OTP 10.21.23 time}). Can you help me find a formula that works properly?

The issue is not with the formula but the data. Smartsheet doesn't have a time function, so when you enter 4:48 or 7:46 it reads it as a text and not number or time. Hence no averages are being displayed. Try changing the data to be with a period if needed (like 4.48 or 7.46 or 6.56) or enter absolute hours between 1 to 24 (per day). Your same averageif formula will work if the data is fixed.

Aravind, How do I change the data to be with a period? I do not see a function that will allow me to do that.

Aravind, now that we have the time function, how do I incorporate that into my formula?
