Proposal / Quote software integrations

Hello,
I've been trying to use the PDF generator for a while now with the docusign integration to generate quotes / proposals to send to clients. However, due to the amount of data needed to generate this document, it has become very time consuming to set up and limiting in terms of structure.
I just wonder if anyone has integrated Smartsheet with a third party proposal software, how they have done it and what their experience has been like?
