Why am I not able to type in cells of templates that I'm downloading?

Can't edit widgets or type in cells. The name of the template is Project Tracking

It looks like it's a metric widget that gets data from the sheet, so that might be why you can't edit it. You can only edit data in the report that isn't populated by a formula and has an active row. It looks like it's empty.

I agree with @Andrée Starå!

These data points (the Report row and the Metric widget) are sourced from the underlying sheet. You'll want to add data to that sheet in order for the Report and Dashboard to populate with the correct information.
