Commenting on a sheet

Good afternoon,

I am almost certain that the answer to this question is no based on having read the sharing permissions, but is there any way that I can allow people to comment on a sheet without providing them access to everything on the sheet?

Unfortunately, it's not possible in the standard package now, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit this as a Product Feedback or Idea (If it hasn't been added already) when you have a moment.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

• Automated Update Requests
• Premium App, Dynamic View
• Premium App, WorkApps
• I recently developed a (what I call), Dynamic View Light. It's pretty advanced, but in short, it uses cross-sheet formulas and INDEX/MATCH and a specific structure and method, so it's only possible to show data that should be available. It can also be structured to have a column for notes/comments that would flow back to the main sheet.

Would any of those options work/help?
