How to add longer text/data in smartsheet column headings

Is there a way to add longer text/data into the smartsheet column headings? or am I limited to a certain amount of text characters?

Smartsheet column titles have a character limit of 50.

If you need longer titles, you might consider using abbreviations or shorter descriptions.
