MAX Date Formula Error Help

Hi All, I'm also getting the #INVALID COLUMN VALUE error.

My column is formatted as a "modified date column" but just in case, I tried changing it to a regular date column, and was still getting the same error.

Here is the formula I'm using: =MAX([Last Updated]:[Last Updated])

any ideas?
