That depends on what kinds of KPI you have.

This popular template would be a good example of how to show the KPI on a dashboard.

@jmyzk_cloudsmart_jp As this template is highly popular, why hasn't smartsheet done an in-depth video tutorial explaining how to use it step-by-step. (I found a 55-minute 'Best Practice' webinar on YouTube... but I feel a more in-depth training video would certainly be justified). Of course, there are other YouTube videos explaining the PMO Template by random people...but I'd prefer a video by Smartsheets themselves.

@jmyzk_cloudsmart_jp I appreciate the template share, I am looking for something simple. One sheet, reports and one dashboard. To give a context, I am Sr, QA Manager for a dietary supplement manufacturing site. I want to measure some of the Quality aspects like on-time Quality document delivery, products on hold per day for inspection, customer complaints, customer requests, deviations, change controls, testing failures, yield, training etc. I would love to hear if you have any other suggestions.

Here is a demo dashboard based on your information. I created sample data with Google Bard.

• Metrics
  • We usually use the Metrics widget to show the KPI.
  • The values come from the Sheet Summary Fileds of the QA management Data Sheet.
  • Since you have only one sheet, I created the Metrics data in the Sheet Summary fields.
• Links
  • I attached links to the published sheet and report
• Chart
  • The values from the sheet. I selected the Product and Yield column
  • You can create a chart either from a sheet or a report.
• Report
  • The report summarizes the customer-related data
  • I used the report to show the detailed information on each product.
