Adding comments to locked rows

We have a use-case where once a row is locked, there may need some additional context from the users involved surrounding the record. However, these users are not permissioned as Admins or Owners.

Is there a way for Editors to comments on locked rows? Or should I submit an enhancement request? Thanks in advance!

There is not a way to do that. You would have to submit that request if you want that considered as a feature. Maybe if it was implemented there could be an option on locked rows to allow or not allow.

I will say that the current behavior/functionality is what I would expect and want from a locked row. When I lock a row, I don't want any changes made. That's the point of locking the row.

Appreciate the quick response Ray! I agree once locked I don't want changes to the content of the row. The way the team is viewing this, is more of a discussion of the record post "completion". That said, I'll figure out an alternative solution.
