Automated Notifications - Alert Someone "Send to contacts in a cell"

Hello,

I have a sheet that has a column for email addresses. I want to created an automation that will send info from the sheet to the to the email that is on the same row where the new info are added. When I create the notification under "alert someone" the option "send to contacts in a cell" doesnt populate any of the columns. How can I resolve it?
