Uploading a file that it is actually linked to the 'live file'

Hi,

I know that a licensed user can upload a one drive link of any sheet, to a row to always see the most updated information. However, I wonder if the same can be done by a person, who does not Smartsheet license? If not, are there any alternatives that can be considered? Please help me find soultion.

Yes, unlicensed collaborators can attach files to sheets; I believe this includes links from online resources! Here's more information:

If your collaborators are having trouble, it would be useful to see a screen capture of what they're seeing, and the steps that they took ahead of time.
