How to generate a report for duration (sum hours) to generate a widget.

I am trying to capture the sum of duration (hours) for multiple rows. When i generate a row report and select the column and summarize it to sum, the total displays 0. I can get it to count the number of rows with data entered.

Is there a way to generate this data to extract to a widget for a dashboard?

Hi Jon,

The reason might be that the column includes letters and not pure numbers. However, you could use sheet summary instead to calculate the row and you could use that as the data source for your dashboard.

I have tried it as both, (example) 1h 30m and 1:30 and neither works. I will try the summary now. Thank you for the time!
