When I first started making dashboards with Smartsheet, exploring some of the templates systems Smartsheet had that included dashboards was really helpful and often designed with different work fields in mind.
In my role, one of my first tasks was to create dashboards and connected resources that functioned as a platform to track admin tasks in our office (essentially a guide and accountability) for critical tasks. In that sense, I used the dashboard as not only a good visual rollup of information but also the jumping off point to dive into individual sheets and reports related to the work system. Here's an example of what a couple parts of some of those dashboards looked like (with potentially sensitive info blurred).
