Auto-populate 2 cells based on specific info in another cell
I am setting up a sheet as a multiple employee timesheet. It will be a basic sheet and a form will be used to enter time daily. When a name is selected on the form (currently, the Name column is set to drop down with each person's name listed), I want the clock number and class (position) rows on the sheet to auto populate to that specific person's information. I'm not the best with Excel and have just started using Smartsheet so any and all help would be so greatly appreciated!

Hi @K.Nixon,
I would create a separate sheet that holds the name of each employee, with their Clock # and Class Then in the timesheet that you are using, I would have a formula in the Clock # and Class cells that retrieves the data from the Employee Details sheet using the VLOOKUP or INDEX-MATCH functions.
Thanks,
John
