Smartsheet column changes do not update to a non license unless the person who makes the change reve

I'm the owner of a sheet. Multiple users work on this sheet (licensed and non-licensed). A column was hidden by a user and the non-licensed users couldn't unhide it (makes sense). I unhid the column, however, the non-licensed user could still not see it. The non-licensed could see the column only when the user who hid it in the first place unhid it. Why did this happen? Usually, all changes made by every user of the sheet should be visible to everyone.

Strange! Was it in a sheet or report?
