    Hi @Mindfull

I hope you're well and safe!

You could use cross-sheet formulas combined with either a VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH structure to connect the sheets, and when you update the source sheet, it will reflect on the destination sheet.

To connect them row by row, you'd use an Autonumber Column in the Source sheet and add a so-called helper column to manually add the row id on as many rows as you think you need in the Destination sheet. (You could also use an INDEX structure)

    Would that work/help?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

Since your posted this to the "API & Developers" Discussion, I will say there are times to use the API for cross-sheet updates, but they would typically have complex logic or the need to get around the normal permissions. Since you mention trying Data Shuttle for this, maybe you do have such a situation.

Without details justifying the need for such things, I will say that @Andrée Starå offers the best solution for the vast majority of cases.

  • @Mindfull Data Shuttle is really more about updating a sheet (or offloading a sheet) with a CSV or XLSX file. So if you need to do something similar between two sheets, I'd instead recommend DataMesh!
