I would like to make the “Duration” column dependant on the hours needed and the team assigned to develop a task; something like “Hours (quoted) / Team (number of people)= Duration”. Is that possible? How can I do it? Thank you for your guidance.
If Dependencies are enabled, you can't have a formula in the Duration (or other Project Settings related columns).
You can set up the Duration formula to get the results and then turn on Dependencies - it will keep the Duration but remove the formula.
What I do is create a second column to have my calculated duration and then copy that column's contents to the Duration column. I usually have another column to check if the two columns are different.
